A consultation lasts on average 45 minutes.
It consists of three parts:
- First, the osteopath asks questions about the patient’s symptoms and lifestyle.
- A detailed examination then enables the osteopath to determine the exact location of the pain and its cause.
- Finally, appropriate and pain-free techniques are used to eliminate the cause of the pain and stop it from recurring or progressing.
Advice is given at the end of the session to ensure that the benefits of treatment are maintained.
